Construction in Byron Bay & the Northern Rivers

Full builds, start to finish, working alongside your builder and designer. One crew across nine trades means nobody is waiting on a subcontractor and nothing falls into the gap between two of them.

One stone, front to back

On an acreage build near Bangalow the same stone runs from the brick courtyard at the front, along the pergola walk, and out to the pool edge at the back. From above you can see why that matters on a block that size: it reads as one place rather than four projects that happened to share a driveway.

How we work

Construction landscaping is the whole outdoor build: the cut, the drainage, the structure, the surfaces, the planting and the lighting. We run it as one job across Byron Bay, Suffolk Park, Bangalow, Lennox Head, Brunswick Heads, Ballina and the wider Northern Rivers rather than a series of handovers, which is the only way the levels line up at the end.

It usually starts before the house is finished. We work to the builder's program, take the block when the scaffold comes down, and hand back an outdoor space that reads as part of the house rather than something added to it afterwards.

Questions we get asked

Can you work alongside our builder?
Yes, and it is how most of our bigger jobs run. We take the program from the builder, coordinate the services and drainage before the slab goes down where we can, and start on site properly once the trades inside are clear. Getting us in early is almost always cheaper than retrofitting drainage later.
How long does a full backyard build take?
A small courtyard is two to three weeks. A full block with a pool surround, structures and planting is more commonly six to twelve. Weather in the wet season is the biggest variable, and we tell you where we are each week rather than going quiet.
Do you use subcontractors?
Not for the landscaping. Nine trades sit inside our own crew, which is the whole point of the way we are set up. Licensed electrical and plumbing connections go to the appropriate licensed trade, as they legally must.
